Thanks guys, Sorry, getting a bit stressed, its hot and I have a deadline, you know how it is. Katie, the resolution is set to very high. as far as the rendering mode, well I'm trying to render in the one that will give me the best results. No luck so far. I might just go back to version 8, this version 9.5 .2 seems full of problems. Where has the nudge tool gone ? Doug

Hi,I'm trying to render a 3d vectorworks document in version 9.5 ( the latest version ) but am finding that the preferences for rendering are different from the past version I am used to using ( version 8 I think ). In the version that I am used to using there is an option under the document preferences where you can set the rendering to '1:16 smooth' which gives you the best rendering. In version 9.5 there is not this option but another option, a box that allows you to set the 'ACL' ( i think )option. However I cannot get it to render to a high standard the is smooth. It comes out all faceted. I've called vectorworks support but they tell me that this is the best option that I can get. I don't believe this because I have achieved much better in the past. I know you can but renderworks but I've never needed it in the past. Please help. Many thanks Doug
