Why do some 3d objects fade into a texture e.g. flooring, even when brought to the front?

I am unsure what I have done but my dimension text cannot be selected and is faded in colour. I cannot edit it at all and not sure what to do?

I have imported image prop as texture and is displaying really dark even though I have amended the Open GL rendering options to highest. Any ideas ?

Because I am only learning I tend to grab items incorrectly to snap to objects exactly. I am not sure if I am getting wrong values. Do I grab in the middle of item with snapping on?

Is Bitmap crop the best way to display site design at different angles ?? I am sending client pdf presentation.

Phil, I feel you are so right. I am just getting more confused everyday. I am looking for 1-1 training in Dublin but struggling to find. -
He all, i have been trying to learn and convert to VW but finding very difficult. Coming from Adobe software it is confusing. I watch tutorials and read blogs but panicking as employers expecting more. Any suggestions??

Hi all, I have a floor plan in VW and now looking to understand how to create and apply artwork concept to this floor plan in 3d. I am a novice and have never done this before! Thanks.

So I now have some spare time as quiet so as well as watching tutorials I want to create. Finding it difficult to control building tools like wall, windows etc. I draw it and view but kind of lost putting building together. Any advice here?

Alan how do you scale down the bitmap aside from grabbing the corners. Is there quicker way?
