[All options unavailible]

Hello,

 

I'm new to vectorworks and am having a problem. All options are appearing as grey, unavailable.  File, Edit, View, Modify etc. are all locked. 

 

I can manually move and modify objects. But i can't group, add surface, export anything like that.

 

Any ideas?
