Thanks yes that sorted it for me - strange glitch, only happens sometimes.

This works - Shut the machine down, restart it launching ONLY Vectorworks and no other applications, then test the space bar. If it works, open your other commonly used applications like your browser and email clients and see if the spacebar ceases to work after launching any of them in particular.

I've been in touch with them and understand that VW will levy a £150 + VAT transfer of ownership fee that Design Software Solutions will invoice the buyer directly for and issue the licence once the sale has been completed.
