  1. We're the designers at a large and busy venue and we're putting together a file for distribution for incoming artists. I'm wondering if theres a way to have some sort of control over that file that's being sent out. Whether it's locking it so it cant be edited, or have some sort of other control once it's been sent? I don't want to make it password protected, since it's distributed widely, but just want to maintain some control over our design. Thanks!
  2. Yeah, that moved the viewport from the cached reference into my active file. But the issue remains that I can't edit the items in the viewport. I'm hoping to be able to modify what's in the viewport, or just have all the items natively in my active file.
  3. Hey there, I have a drawing that has a referenced Viewport in model space, but no access to the drawing it's referenced from, it's from a client and the original referenced drawing seems lost. Is there a way to convert that viewport to a workable model in my file so that I can adjust as needed? Basically just make the geometry contained within the viewport able to be manipulated within my drawing? Thanks!
  4. Hello! So I have a symbol that's not behaving correctly. I dropped in a focus point then entered it into the "focus" in in the symbol info as usual, but it seems like there's something wrong with the build where it's confused what part of the light is stationary and what part moves... I'm not even sure where to start to fix this. Any help would be appreciated!
  5. Hello! So I'm positive this is an easy answer, but I can't for the life of me figure it out. How do I reposition the labels on hoists? With a lighting fixture, I'd just change the label legend, but there doesn't appear to be any of the same options available to hoists. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
  6. Okay, that makes sense. I followed your instructing however and the same thing happened where the name of the symbols aren't showing up... Attached is the file and a screenshot of my export to dwg. Light Plot.dwg
  7. Yup, made sure that wasn't selected, and it's still exporting sans block name. Light Plot.dwg
  8. Hello! I'm working to figure out the best way to export a useful DWG. I'm wondering, is there any way to maintain Symbol names (ex. S4-36deg) in the exported DWG block? They are currently exporting as a seemingly random array of numbers. Thank you!
