  1. Hi We still get slow down in button tools sets in 2015 (sp4) in OSX10.11.2 2016 (sp2) still slow in screen area but get performance jump in both releases (vis a vie cursor lag/zooming etc) 2016/2015 when View - Unified view is selected/ticked (default is off). I saw this issue/temp fix raised in another post which has helped, but still not great though J
  2. Update: SP2 has not solved this - its still with support team
  3. Ok JimW I will see what support have to say. Rossford - yes only vectorworks, our other Adobe etc software seems fine. Its not the mouse for example vectorworks 2015 running on same machine/mouse and using same drawing ok but when opened in 2016 on same machine/mouse lagging
  4. I am experiencing slow performance and cursor lag when using vectorworks 2016 on mac When moving the mouse across the drawing area, the smart cursor in Vworks lags behind the mouse location by about 1-2cm on screen or more the faster I move it - resulting in a chopping user experience. However there is no lag on the buttons/docks. I thought initially this might be a RAM issue however I have run some comparisons on other machines in the office running both 2015 sp4 & 2016 sp1 as well as different operating systems. For example: (using same drawings on each machine) 27inch late 2013 OSX 10.8.5 3.4Ghz intel 5i/ 8Gb Ram/Nvidia GTX 775M 2Gb Vectorworks Arch 2015 SP4 = smooth no lag good performance Vectorworks Arch 2016 SP1 = lagging/slow New Late 2015 27inch Imac 5k. El captian OS 10.11.1 3.2Ghz intel 5i/ 8Gb Ram/AMB R9 M380 2Gb Vectorworks Arch 2016 SP1 = lag/slow It also appears to be mac related (as far as I can tell) as my my home machine is fine: windows 10/5i 8gb RAM 3GB AMD R9 290x running 2016 sp1 = smooth no lag good performance All these machine are running the recommended specs and the drawings I am testing them are quite simple. They do have quite a few block/groups in them but given Vworks 2015 handles this with no issue I'm not sure its the drawings. other notes: New drawings with no info in them do not have any lag. I have tried turning on and off: anti-alising & Enhanced navigation graphic and zoom line thickness to no significant effect on lag any thoughts?
