  1. Thanks for responding. No other programs are running, 256 MB RAM, Windows 98.
  2. Thanks for the suggestion on the OS upgrade. I still don't get why a file of only 5 MB would clog things up. Could it be that the printer is networked on a peer to peer system and not directly connected to his pc? We are using a Xerox 2230ij printer.

  4. The Visual C++ Runtime error is typically associated with the print setup and occassionally the page setup function. The files are not huge, typically between 2 & 3 MB. There are a few programs running in the background. Task Scheduler, Creative Audio Mixer, Cameo Viewer and Scanner detector. He has turned off Norton AV. We are printing to a XEROX 2230i large format printer. When the file is successful in going to the print que in tends to hang during spooling. The file size seems to jump to over 5 MB which I assume is related to the non-postscript printer we are using.
  5. After sending my drawing to the plotter, I find that some lines and objects don't print. VW 8.5.2 Is this a RAM issue?
  6. I keep getting a runtime error and program crash during Print Setup in VW 8.5.2. It occurs primarily with larger files. It also occurred with the same file after conversion to Mincad V 7.0.3
