  1. Many thanks for your help Mark. Sadly it didnt seem to produce the desired result. Ive simply resulted to drawing that part the good old fashioned way! Vectorworks still has a way to go before its completely useful, from a creative freedom standpoint.
  2. Hi everyone, firstly thanks for reading this - I hope the following makes sense! Basically, I'm placing a window into a wall, buts the opening itself is meant to be angled, ie not perpendicular to the direction of the wall. [img:center][/img] I have tried to alter the direction at which the window sits within the wall (it needs to be angled to match the red lines in the image above). Is this possible? I have been advised that the only way to do this is to ungroup the wall and window and edit them directly - but that is not overly helpful. Its probably also worth noting that we are NOT producing a 3D model, just using the 3D tools to produce our plans. I am using Vectorworks 2015. Thanks in advance.
  3. I hope I am putting this query in the correct section of the forum. We have added VW 2015 to my computer in the office, to test it out prior to switching the entire office. The rest of the office currently use 2014. I am attempting to clip a rectangle with a polyline object, which, up until this version could be done by simply right clicking on the 2 selected objects and selecting 'clip surface'. However, in 2015, if I have 2 things selected, I have no right click functionality, if I am right clicking directly on the objects - which is required to bring up the correct options. I can right click in the empty space around the objects, but then the correct options do not come up. I can also right click on single lines or objects without issue. Has anyone else come across this? Is there a fix? Thanks in advance.
