  1. OMG...the german version differs a lot But i finally found it. The shortcut is alt+cmd+U I did not know this command but i'm glad u told me. Thanks a lot! Regards Jay
  2. Hey Kevin sorry man.. i just can't get it done. So the steps what i did: 1. create a truss made with the truss tool 2. convert that into lighting position 3. select the lighting position and click edit / ungroup 4. a 2D/3D symbol + a text was created 5. when i group the 2D/3D symbol again just a group is created (no popup wether converting sub-objects or not) can u explain that a little in detail or use screenshots please? I'd appreciate this a lot. Thanks Jay
  3. Good to know. Thank you! When ungrouping the position a 2D/3D symbol is made. (when selecting DO ungroup) When i hit DO NOT UNGROUP nothing happens. Do you have a screenshot where i can see the popup? mine is like: when you ungroup this object it special property will be lost. I use the german version and this was translated:)
  4. I do create trusses in most of the times with the truss tool provided by SP. After converting to position i am no longer able to extend or shorten the truss when needed. This is just one example. Regards Jay edit: Another issue is that i do use LightConverse since a few days. And LC can not handle 'positions'. So therefor it would be nice to be able to convert them back into trusses.
  5. Hey guys do you know a way to reconvert positions (made thru the SP menu) after they have been converted? Regards Jay
  6. hey i tried that just using the 3d orientation. hmm I still don't know what to do with the clamps. Your hung fixtures do not have clamps? regards jay
  7. hey Chad yeah...i know the 3D orientation issue. This was also thought doing it like that. I just played with it. But my default hung fixtures do have clamps on the base. when i just rotate the fixture, then the clamps are still there and not needed when standing on the floor. the other way is not to use clamps
  8. ehh..ok. never heard about that. ok, i am just using Spotlight for few months. any idea or guide how this would work? by the way...how do you guys handle this?
  9. Hey Guys i work in Spotlights with 2 fixturetype - A HUNG and a STAND Symbol. That means for every Symbol / light in my library i have 2 to choose from. Therefor when i printout the legend list i do get the count for hung and stand lights regarding to my file. Is there a way to produce a hung symbol and a stand symbol so that the legend is showing only the "main" fixture? e.g used in file: Intellaspot hung - 3 Intellaspot stand - 3 legend is showing: Intellaspot - 6 I hope u know what i mean thank u Jay
