All layers and classes are set for modify, but when I click the entire print and group, then move the group on the drawing, it leaves behind stuff on the drawing. It shouldn't do this, can't find an answer. this is 2d drawing

I have s sheet layer different from the Layers class, it has the references that I need to spot specifics on the main drawing. Missing the floor plan on this sheet. Is there a way to get Floor plan which is in the Layer plan to show up on the sheets plan?

Is there somewhere I can put a symbol folder so it is available to all my drawings without having to import into every drawing? The book is sketchy on importing symbols and is confusing at best. I am having trouble importing a symbol from one drawing to another drawing.

Lost all my resources on the Architect version, how do I restore? Removed all the favorites trying to delete a file (folder) I did not need anymore. Tried to reload and repair the files, but to no avail.

All my resource browser symbols are gone, erased only have one favorites file now. I hope this helps.

Having a problems with Importing Symbols, I don't show IMPORT as an option in the Resources Palette. Tried reloading the Version 11 to see if I did not get all the load the first time.

I believe what i sent was different one, but could be wrong. Does it have the same file name as the one I sent to you the first day?

The problem occurs after the program loads and a file is opened. When you go to the view button on the main menu, it locks up the program, dropdown box does not open. Trying to create a Layer Link when it locks up and going to the x button to close gives a Program not responding error.

I currently have 16mb on my Nvida Riva TNT2/TNT2Pro. What sixe do you recommend for the video card for using with Vectorworks?

New driver installed 3/24/2004 Version 5.6.7.2 but still locking up with the newer driver. any suggestions?

The Driver is 9/27/2002 Version 4.0.7.2 Adapter is RIVA tnt2, 16mb version 2.05.2008

It is not rendored, not using the rendoring software, just the Architect version

Using Version 10.5.1 and on the video card driver I am unsure. Where do we get the Video Driver to update. What version? etc.

Getting a runtime error when using the Clip Tool in the outside mode. Any fix for this?

Have a file that was converted from 9 to version 10, when I open the file, it opens but when I try to use the menu buttons to go to different functions,i.e. File, Edit, View, etc.) the program locks up with a program not responding and it forces me to have to close the program. Had no problems until I convered from 10.0.1 to the version 10.5.1 update. Any ideas?

To clarify, I have taken the orginal copied layer and copied and pasted in place on another layer in the same file, all layers are set at 1" 30' An they will not line up? Can't figure out why !!

Katie, I have two layers with a building footprint(on layer- Maintenance) that was copied and pasted in place on the second layer (called MedgasZone), with the second layer linked back to the Maintenance layer, but both are not lined up with each other when I preview them in Layers view.

Need help on Pasted in Place drawings on two different levels, Scaled the same 1" = 30' Linked the layers together then pasted in place. But not aligning properly. They are off.

Having a problem with the CLIP TOOL, it doesn't do anything. Tried all ways to see if it works, but doesn't. Anybody else having the same problem? Is there a solution to fix?

Does Vectorworks have the shortcut that you use for scrolling through the layers? (e.g. Control + the UP arrow for layers.) I need a shortcut for looking at the Classes, without having to click through each one with the selector bar. Need asap. Thanks, Clois
