[Drawing label and scale?]

How do I get the scale in drawing label to display a drawing's scale? "Actual Size" doesn't seem to go away!

Vincent, I did what you said and Vectorworks seem to recognize the script but the script does not work? I modified my workspace and added your script under View. I created a simple object and put it in its own class...With the object still selected, I went to View --> Toggle Class Visibility...but nothing happen?

Hm...for some reason I cannot import .vsm file? I am on a Mac if that makes any different. I went to File --> Import --> Import VectorScript.

I have a panic situation. Basically I have been working on a huge project...I periodically save the file and its backup. Just a minute ago, vectorworks crashed on me and now I cannot open the file as well as a backup file...It basically showed me this message and all of my works were gone. Please helpppp!

I think I just got it to work. After joining the two arcs with Connect/Combine tool. I converted it into a Polygon and then use the Duplicate Along Path...and it works!!

I have Vectorworks Fundamental 2011. I joined the two arcs together with connect/combine tool (I used dual object combine mode). Shouldn't it be treated as one single path after they are joined together?

I have been messing around with "Duplicate Along Path" tool and it seems to work with a single path. When I tried it on a Polyline path created by joining two single arcs, it didn't work. Any suggestion? Please see attached!

This is so bizarre. How come my snap to working plane disappear once I select a drawing tool to start drawing ??? I don't understand it at all! Please help!

Thanks so much! It works... It is "Smart Edge" snap on my version of vectorworks and the hotkey is "F" in 3D mode.

Hi I have been trying to draw in 3D mode but for some reason 3d snapping doesn't work so well. Whenever I tried to snap to a point of an existing project at a certain height, it always project my snap point down to the 0 of Z coordinate.

Hi,

I have two objects; each object belongs to a class. I was messing around with the opacity slot under class tab but could not figure out how to make it work. I turned the opacity of one of the class object to 5% but it still shows at 100% on screen. Am I missing something?
