  1. How the heck do you edit the instrument model? I've been banging my head against the wall for hours trying to figure it out. Edit: Alright, finally found it. I've tried adding in a flat disc to the front of a source 4 par body to get the reflection to show up, but no use. Also, is there a way to make the beam fatter coming out of the light body? My pars look like they're a point source, when I'd like the beam to be as wide as the housing when it exits.
  2. I'm having a hell of a time trying to sketch a hockey arena in this program...I could have been done it ten times over in ACAD, solidworks, etc. Anyways, I can't seem to get the stupid floating data bar to work. I press tab to access it, then type in the dimensions I want, but it doesn't produce an object of those dimensions. Instead, the numbers just lock on and I can still manipulate the object. For example, I need to draw the players benches, which are roughly 8' on the outside. So I place a wall, press tab and then 8' in the +Y dimension (as I have X as the length and Y as the width), but when I hit enter, it will just draw a wall to wherever my mouse was sitting when I hit enter. Any ideas?
  3. Hi! New user here, but long-time CAD monkey. Two questions: 1. I'm hunting for a COLORado I and II Tour symbol. Even if there's one that's pretty similar in another library and I can re-name it as Chauvet, that's fine by me. 2. Is there a way to create blocks, like in AutoCAD? For example, I want to make a Bar-of-6 PAR bar. From what I've read, there isn't one in the Library. So, if I place six PAR 64s, then hang them off a bar to make it reasonably similar to my bars, how do I make this so I can put it in the library? I don't want to have to copy and paste them all the time, since I use them very often. Also, where do I find the ACL's? Cheers!
