ok, i'm starting to wonder why people think this is such a great program, i really hope that i have a bad copy cause with all the bugs i have it's sstarting to upset me. Has anyone had problems with the Key to Instrumentation tool. I just tried putting one in 10 minutes ago and it left out my fresnels and put 3 instances of the zip strip. i had to renumber, then put a new key in (since i deleted the bad one) and now when i add this key the fresnels are still gone and now the active legend key is gone as well when 10 minutes ago they were there. Does anyone have a solution???? Please help!!!! Michael

i have spotlight 8.5.2, is anyone else out there having a problem with auto-renumbing, it's not doing it what so ever. every setting is correct on the position to auto renumber, the toggle is on and still nothing. it occasionally works when i toggle everything off and the everything abck on and then refresh, and then it auto numbers, but in a way it wants to. if anyone has suggestions please tell me!!!!

I just got VW Spotlight and was working with the Draw Border (spot) tool. I like the tool cause it's a simple click and there is the border and block. But one thing I noticed was there was no box to put the designers name. I know I usually put my name as designer on my plots and know many others do as well, so it was kind of weird that the title block on this lighting software was missing a spot for the designers name. Is there a plug-in I can get? I tried playing with the scripts and changed the part number to designer in the parameters of the plug in, it worked great on the dialogue box, but messed up the script. I really don't want to create a block each time I have a new show, so is there a way that it can be incorporated into the Drawing Border (spot) tool? Thanks in advance for any help you guys give me. I was just wondering if there is a way to rotate the text when using the Light Position Obj tool? I have a vertical pipe that I want to label with an up and down label. Granted I know I can do it with the text tool but is there a way to do it with the Light Position Obj info box? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
