Hamline2010

So this is most likely a very simple solution, but I am at a loss. I am trying to create complete 3D sets, but I am stuck at step 1. I am trying to use the flyover tool to see the rendering. I want to be able to make a wall, say, a brick wall. I have selected the desired texture in the Rendering area of the obj. info section, but when I change views to front, it is still wire-frame. Hopefully it's an easy solution. Anyone?
