Hi guys, I am still quite new with vectorworks but somehow I dont understand the scaling. Its mentioned in training books that I can have various scales applied to different design layers. After doing a drawing I draw a rectangle and say view -> create viewport. I do necessary adjustments and then after clicking okay some window pops up saying I do have different scales on my design layers and the viewport will set all to one scale. This causes obviously quite a huge mess as design layers will be displayed larger/smaller than I would like to have it. Thanks very much for your help, Steffen

hi guys, I have just installed a VW 2010 version and as a first time user I simply wanted to do some training. however the files provided from nemetschek seem to be saved in 2011 and I am unable to open them in 2010. is ther any way i can work around it as the training with the files makes more than sense... cheers, nippel
