  1. I'll respond to myself so that if anyone else runs into this, they know what the answer is. There is no way to get the leader to turn off. The work around is to move the leader to a point on the line thereby hiding it.
  2. Does anyone know how to hide the leader that is attached to property lines created with property line tool. The leader I'm referring to attaches to the area calculation. Even if I uncheck the boxes for "show name", "show area," "show number" the leader is still visible. Also does anyone know why VW won't create a one segment property line. I.e., it will only create property lines with two or more segments. I assume this a bug and have submitted it. This project is in VW2011 SP5, Designer Thanks, Dillon
  3. I'm having the exact same problem described above. I don't have Firefox open, but i did recently install it. Does anyone have a solution?
  4. does anyone know if VW supports import of jp2 files. (these are georeferenced jpegs). I don't see any mention of them in any documentation. When I attempt to import one into VW, nothing happens. VW allows me to select the file and click ok, but then nothing happens. There's no warning but also no image shows up. Thoughts?
  5. Hi, I'm curious what workflow others use for a very common task. I'd like to draw a path-- with a slope. I'd like that path to correctly modify the site model and show up: 1. in plan view 2. in 3D view with slope accurately shown 3. on hardscape worksheets The workflow I have been able to come up with that does all of this is: 1. create a polyline showing the edges of the path 2. convert a copy of the polyline to a hardscape object (with no 3d view) 3. convert a copy to nurbs. set to site modifiers class. adjust z of vertices to account for slope (I could use "object form site modifier" if I knew the exact slope I want rather than finding the slope from the start and end points). 4. convert a copy of the nurbs to a 3D polygon so that I can texture it and see it in 3D. Is there a simpler way to accomplish this task? Creating 4 objects for the same thing seems a bit cumbersome, especially when changes need to be made. Regards, Dillon
