Do you know of a way to do this for chain Dimensions? Single Dimensions gives me the Dual View drop down box in the object info box. Chain Dimensions does not give me the Dual view drop down box to change the dimension from primary to secondary.

Is there any way to show inch dimensions on some sheets and feet and inches on other sheets? I'm using "feet & Inches" as the Dimension standard but on some of the sheets(Finish and Interior elevations)I want to show "inches only". When I try to change from feet & inches to inches only, every dimension in the file changes to inches.

Thanks for the offer. I went back and opened the file again this morning to send to you and I was able to "Force select" it today. I think the main issue is VectorWorks running on a PC. I started with Vectorworks back in 2005 and I had a PC. I had all kinds of issues and then I got a Mac and everything worked much better. Now the office I'm in uses PC and we switched to VW2010 over a year ago and we have been having a lot of issues with VW. I usually tell everyone in the office "it's user error" and then the same thing happens to me. I have no idea what the previous post is referring to "Craigslist"???????

I've been using VW since VW9 and have never had this problem. The gray layers (some times, probably 50% of the time) don't show up. If you move the cursor over the file it will show the grayed item that you the cursor is over and then it disappears as soon as you move the cursor away. I can also see the grayed layer if I zoom out far enough that the entire floorplan is a bout 2 inches wide. Obviously this is not practical. As soon as I start to zoom in to a normal workikng view the grayed layer disappears again. If I make the layer visible it pops right up. The unified views doesn't affect anything.

At random times a VW symbol shows on the screen but I can't select it. I have Show/Snap/Modify Others selected in both Layers and Classes. It's happened today with the Suburu car and the 36x2 Lateral file drawer. Yet I was able to insert and still select a chair and a bed? The only way to delete the symbol is using CTRL+Z. I didn't realize this the first time this happened and now I have the Suburu stuck in my file and I can't get rid of it.

I'm using VW2010 on a PC(not my choice)and the layers I have selected as "gray" do not show up on screen? I have show/snap/modify others selected. If I select visible the layers become visible and if I select gray they dissapear as if I selected invisible.
