  1. Also can i just confirm that i am doing this all in the right order...only started using VW yesterday. I am opening a new document and importing the .dwg making sure the scale is 1:1, then i am copying the pieces i need an pasting them onto my macbeth drawing. Everytime i import onto the macbeth drawing i am losing everything else. Is this right or am i being completely stupid?
  2. Hi, Am using my flatmates computer so not sure about the piracy? Im using VW2008 and cant seem to open the file you have attached can you save it as a 2008 file? Thanks
  3. Have added my file and the truss im trying to import (H30D) Thanks for all your help! [The file was created with an Illegal copy of VW and has been removed - Mod]
  4. OK so i have redrawn my stage at 1:1 and when dragging the truss in from the resource browser it is still 50 times bigger! Really confused now!
  5. Hi thanks for all that. No i have drawn my stage to scale and this is where i am having problems. Any advice?
  6. Wow Kevin, that was exactly what i was looking for. Much obliged
  7. Hey again, I am trying to create a truss over my stage the is 5mx7mx7m. I have downloaded the files from the prolyte website but am unable to import them at the scale i require (1:25), ie every time i drag one onto my page it is always massive. Any clues on how to get it down to the right size? Secondly how do i rotate that so it is upright? Thanks
  8. Hey, thanks for your reply. I think i am confusing myself unneccesarily. How do i extrude horizontally instead of vertically?
  9. Hi Mike, Have tried using that but can only get it to go to floor level and not join in to level at 55cm. Any advice?
  10. Hey all, First time poster so be gentle. I am currently building a stage in VW '08. One level is at 80cm and the other is at 55cm there is a 360 cm gap between the 2 levels. I am trying to create a straight ramp the right length but can only get it to do the heights needed and not the length. Any help appreciated. Oli
