  1. Thank you so much for posting this solution. I run a windows 7 machine with vectorworks 2011. I had lost my basic and tool set for landmark. The top windows under window pallets would not let me select the basic or tool set. I tried replacing the files for the workspaces to no avail. Your solution worked. I opened a blank file and right clicked with my curser on white space where the design deigns would normally be created and was able to select both tool sects via the mouse menu. Both came back my workspace is normal again. I can't thank you enoughe for posting this. Apparently this solution works for landmark or spotlight on a Windows machine. 2. I just upgraded to Vectorworks Landmark 2011. I converted an existing Vectorworks Landmark 2010 file with multiple layers to Vectorowrks Landmark 2011. Unfortunately the Existing tree tool which works file in new files is not working in this converted file. When I click on the tool the normal buttoms for settings etc appear on tht top of the working window, but as soon as I move the curser they disapear. I was hoping to be able to use the existing tree tool on this converted file as I have already spent time on the base, concept , survey , site model and house and would rather not have to repeat this effort. This does not occor is a new file or a new template which was created from the Vectoroworks 2010 conversion as well. Other files converted do not have a problem with the existing tree tool. The only diffference with this file is that one layer contains an imported cad survey. Any thoughts?
  3. I just finished the second online user meeting with Jonathan Pickup. His work is fantastic, detailed, all levels, all industries utilizing Vectorworks. I highly recommend joining his online user group. I have found his once a month short courses to be extremely usefull in improving my understanding and efficiency in Vectroworks. A plus stuff. If you join his online group you also have access to previous topics with highly detailed workbooks to reproduce the information covered in the interactive webinars. I plan on attending all his short courses.
