Thank you for your response. However, I am looking to add a column in the worksheet that will quantify how many of the same symbol (by symbol name) are on the drawing. This will allow me to do a take-off of all the furniture. Can someone please help?

I am currently trying to set up a furniture library in Vecotworks. I've manage to attached records to each of my furniture symbols with the relevant information attached to that record (size, cost, manufacturer etc.) I've also managed to schedule this information into a table. What I want to do now is use this table to added up where symbols are being duplicated and display this in one line, rather than list the symbol x amount of times. e.g. If I had a floor plan with the same 5x WC symbol, that the schedule would recognize that 5x of the same symbol are in the drawing a show the quantity of the symbol and NOT list the symbol 5 times in the table. Can someone please help?

Hi, I am new to the whole Renderworks side of Vectorworks. Can anybody give me some tips on how to achieve a quality image with-in a fast rending time (less than 30 mins)? Any other tips people could give me on rendering are more than welcome.

Could someone please help. I am currently using Vectorworks 2009. I have a masterplan which I am workgroup referencing into various files to create various drawings. This masterplan is drawn at 1:100 and all the text sizes set at pt.9. One of my drawing requires the workgroup reference to be scaled at 1:50. However, when I change the scale to 1:50 all the text sizes change to pt.18. Does anyone know how I can change the scale of the workgroup reference to 1:50 but keep the text size at pt.9. If anyone could help I would be most grateful.
