Installing Vectorworks - Series E

I have followed these instructions to download onto a PC but every time I get to the end of the installation ( the bar is nearly all green)  the installer freezes and doesn't finish - what can I do?

What version of Vectorworks are you using, 2017? How long does the green bar sit there for? There is a long period where there will be no movement near the end, but even on a slower hard drive the installation should take less than 25mins max.

2017 - green bar sits there for hours near the end!

Just tried to open the Vectorworks icon and I get a message saying this program can't open because mfc11ou.dll is missing - is that the bit my computer is stuck on installing then?

If it was from a download, delete the one you have and then download the installer and retry, if the same delay happens (if it doesn't move from 15 minutes solid youll know its broke, no need to wait hours this time) get in touch with tech@vectorworks.net and they should be able to get you squared away. If you installed from a DVD, let me know and I can get you a download link.

thanks - I'll do that. it was from a download for students. I'll delete it all from my computer and start again with a new download

I have 2 Landmark lisenses for 2 separate companys. One is for B-series with dongle from 2018 to 2021 and the other is E-series for 2022-2023. I changed my laptop and need to install E-series 2023. I signed in and there are both compays as it should. When trying to download the installation file 2023 the site is offering the B-series file alltough that company has only an E-series lisense. When I looked down there could be possible to download 2018 to 2020 E-series files. Seems that 2022 and 2023 would be possible to download only as B-series files. How could this be fixed.

I think you are going to have to contact customer support directly. The forum is for User to User support and none of us have any way to look at your account or the download server to see what is going on.
