Hatches for Wall Types

The ability to choose any predefined hatch for use as a fill within Wall Type cavities, rather than just the pre-set ones, none of which are useful to UK architects.

Here again, my version works differently. I can use any fill pattern for a wall cavity.

In the "Cavity Setup" window, under "Fill:", there's a choice between "Pattern" and "Hatch". If you choose the latter, you then get to pick any of the hatch patterns you created or acquired.

THere should be a localisied Prefernces File for the industry series of VW, the distributor in your country should have put it together to suit local practice.

jan15- what you suggest is the old way of setting up walls with cavities which is still in the basic package.

but let's not get into that debate again....

I didn't realise you could get localised versions. All of the defaults including the large array of standard Wall Types are all for North American construction and with imperial units (if that's what you guys call non-metric).

I should probably contact the distributor, unless there's a way to do change the setup at the user end.
