  1. Anybody run across this problem? I have been trying for 11 days and still cannot figure out what is causing this or how to fix it. My only solution is to hand-draw the missing parts on the CD's which is a pain to do every time there is a change.

  2. Has anyone had problems where you insert a window wall and the walls don't draw/show up in top/plan view? If I go in Top view the wall is connected and is there, it is the same when I rendering it as well. It just doesn't show up in top/plan view. How do I fix this?

  3. I tried submitting the file, but the email bounces back.

    I tried:

    bugsubmit@nemetschek.net

    bugsubmit@nemetschek.com

    tech@vectorworks.net

    tech@vectorworks.com

    tech@nemetschek.net

    tech@nemetschek.com

none of these go through. I even tried a different computer. They all bounce back.

  4. Peter I will post the file today. I have to get a project out first but will get it posted later today. D Wood, basically what I normally do is create the roof as close to what I am trying to achieve, but with the "Create Roof" tool then I usually ungroup the roof and insert the windows into the gable walls. In this case I don't have the window inserted yet because of the problem I was having with that wall.

  5. Anybody else have an idea of what is causing this? It only seems to happen on the front. If I convert one of the sides of the roof to a gable the wall(in the gable) fits fine.

  6. I understand that no one wants to pay more for these plug-ins to be added. However, the functions that these great plug-ins do, a lot of those functions should be capable within the core of VW. Go look at some of the competitors cabinet and window/door tools. Yes, those programs have shortcomings, as do all programs but we need some of these functions incorporated into VW. Yes, I do budget for these extra plug-ins, especially when I come across a job that is going to require me to purchase them. However, it would be nice if I didn't have to fork out the extra money for something that should be already possible with in the program. Johnathan and Pat, I too luv you guys you are awesome, but you have to see some of the stuff that we are all talking about as being justified. If they don't want to incorporate them, then adjust the tools (cabinet, windows, doors) that we currently have to accommodate more of what these extra plug-ins are capable of doing. That's all, give us more options so that we don't have to "model" these things like others are suggesting. Either way, VW is still my favorite and I will always be a big fan.

  7. I agree as well. I feel both the capabilities of Interiorcad and Windoor should be built-into VW, not separate plugins that must be purchased. They are not options when designing, they are fundamental elements that are apart of every single project that we all take on. It's not a matter of that would be nice to have, it's a matter of, "We are asking for them" so include them.

  8. Yes Tom is on vacation. I don't want to bother him until he gets back. I am going to try one more time to contact technical support and Sven tonight and see if they respond.

  9. Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but has anyone out there had trouble getting support from the Interiorcad technical support team? I am trying to download the two free "Extrablock" packages that they have on there site and can't get it two work. I have emailed their technical support team several times and still no response. I just purchased the XS version of Interiorcad and also have asked them for some help with some other items I am trying to do. Has anyone else had this problem? Has anyone else had luck downloading the two free packages (first two) and if so can you send them to me since I can't seem to get a response from them? Please help!

  10. What size of window did you use? The attic window I used was a 2030 and it worked fine. However, the main floor window was 3050 and it doesn't work. As for plan view the only way I can get the shutters to show in the top view is to use the 3Dtop view and not the top/plan view. I agree, if you add shutters to a window object they should be visible in both plan/top view as well as 3D view.
