    imported excel spreadsheet resolution

    Hi, 

    I am working on a landscape plan. I have to include Excel spreadsheet and then export the whole project as an image (as I need to present my assignment as a Word document)

    The text within the spreadsheet is a little blurry even though  I set dpi 500. Anything else I can try? 

    I double clicked on the spreadsheet once imported in VW and tried to change font but it does not work ,font remains unchanged. Any setting I tried to change with double click on the spreadsheet (see pic attached) does not work. snipJPG.JPG.f928d1e7941875c4eede7e267e5870fc.JPG

    Basic plant legend

    Thanks Tom! I am new to Legend tool, would you please explain me where to find the graphic legend you've attached above please? And how can I add the other paramenters?

    that will give you a pretty good match with your sheet layer in terms of viewport spacing.

    Hello ,

    I'd like to work on my project and see how it will appear on a A3 page (size I chose for the viewport) without switching every time to viewport. 

    Basically I'd like to  set the same page for design layers screen and viewport. I tried to set the same page (please see pics attached) but it still looks different.

    viewport on microsoft word

    Hello, 

    I have to present my 2D landscape design in microsoft word document. When I create a viewport, I select A4 or A3 paper size. Then, I click export, Image file, All visible object and I obtain an Image which is smaller than the paper size that I set. 

    How can I obtain actual A4 or A3 size images?

    Edit plant dimension in legend

    Hello, 

     

    I am manually creating a plant legend (Excel table) and I need to basically copy and paste plants in order to create a legend. 

    In the plan every plant has a different size.. Can I edit the dimension only in the legend but not in the plan?

    viewport layer colors not working

    Thanks Amanda! I managed to create a sheetlayer and put 2 viewports on it, it works! only 1 more question.. how can I set viewport stacking order?

    viewport layer colors not working

    Hello, 

     

     I've been trying to create a sheetlayer in b&w, except for one layer that has to be in colors.

    I am not able to make this function work..  eithrer Layer colors is ticked or unticked, it does not make any difference. I tried with Advanced option, b&w only and then ticked the Layer colour button for the layer I need in color, but nothing happens. 

    I also tried to tick and untick layer override and layer visibilities, but nothing changed. 

    Any idea what I can try?  Thanks a lot!

    Thanks for your help Mark. I followed your advice but it partially worked. The picture and the symbols on the plan are on the same layer but only the picture is in colour, I am not able to get the symbols in colour, tried a few times but nothing changed. 

    Do you know if there is another way to make it work? is there any other setting to change?

    vectorworks in photoshop

    Hello, 

    I created a concept plan in vectorworks. Now I need to import the created document in Photoshop and develop a moodboard. I cannot saved the plan as PDF because Photoshop asks me a password to import PDF document that I don't have. 

    Any suggestion?
