[Can't navigatre in several files in the same time]

Hello everybody,

When i open a second vectorwork file (a new one or an existing one) it freezes the first file. Meaning that once i open a new file, i can't navigate or select anything until i close the other file, then it comes back to normal.

Can somebody help me please?

[Problem with layers and new files]

Hello,

First of all, sorry if my english is not entirely correct, I'm not a native speaker!

Sorry too if this topic already exists, I search for help in the existing posts, but there's just too many and I can't seem to find anything relevant.

 

I'm new in Vectorworks, and since yesterday I've had a problem with layers. I couldn't see all layers in the same time when it was in defferent scales, which i resolved with the unified vue button.

But since i searched to resolve this problem, i know can see everything in my drawing, but i can't reach any object on any layer that is not the active one. I'm of course in "Show/Snap/Modify others". I tried switching it back and forth but it still doesn't work.

In the same time, it seems to have produced another problem: when i open a second file, i can't navigate in the first one (not with zoom, pan, can't select anything on it either).
