I cannot generate a dtm. I have imported as both 3-d, and 2 & 3-d. Depending on the import, I get a message of miscellaneous error, 20, 2. What is that?
The drawing I need to generate the dtm from, and then slope, etc, is a dwg file. When I import as 3d only, I can use the flyover tool and see the contours and site in 3d. the 2 & 3d import does not let me do that.
When importing as 3-d, it will generate one pyramid when I have it run the site model. It appears that it will not read the whole file, which is a fairly large site (185 acres in the mountains at 2' contours).
I have a dual processor g-4 mac, and am using system 10.2.6, and have landmark 10.5. I had the same problems in the previous version of the landmark 10 program.
Any insights are appreciated.

I am not able to create a dtm. I have talked to tech support, and been through all avenues that I can think of. The fence (using the site modifer icon to create a boundary within the topo lines) does not stop the dtm from going beyond the site perimeter. Now, when I apply the fence, it only creates one simple triangular 3d shape. Is there something I am missing regarding creating the fence, or creating the dtm?
I have been on hold on the phone for over 25 minutes, and thought I would give this a try. Last time I talked to tech support, I sent them a file, and they said they would get back to me. That was weeks ago.
Any suggestions?
thanks

I am a new user to 11.5 landmark. I am having trouble doing a cut and fill calculation. I have imported the data, and am attempting to convert 2d plys to 3d contours. there are breaks in the contours, and the command brings up a very small window, and I am not able to determine if contours should go up, down, or stay the same. the model, if I advance it one line at a time, jumps all over the drawing. do I need to somehow connect the contour lines to proceed?
any help is appreciated.
