  1. Yes, I have "Use Site Modifiers" turned on. I realized that it does give me some result: it triangulates a projection of the road on the proposed DTM. However, it does not adjust the heights of these points to meet the road. I can edit the symbol to change the color of the triangles in the dtm to sort of create an effect of the road being "painted" on the site, but that's tedious. In the manual it looks as if the contours should actually change. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

  2. I'm trying to figure out how to use a road object to modify my site model, as it says in the guide. I've created a DTM, I've laid a road within it. I've tried updating the DTM with the road selected, with the road and the DTM selected, with the DTM only selected, and with nothing selected. I get no results. Any advice? Thanks very much.

  3. I am having the same problem. On page 1-7, I'm directed to select the VW Architect Workspace, then choose "About ARCHITECT" from the Apple menu. However, "About ARCHITECT" is grayed out.

Most of the ARCHITECT functions work fine, just a few, like the Notes commands, tell me to register my copy.

  4. Hi, Erik

You can get more than one perspective on a drawing sheet by using layer links. Create a new, empty layer for each perspective you want. Under the "View" menu you'll choose "Create Layer Link", and select the layer(s) you want in that perspective. Then create the view you want. If you want to move the image, select it, go to "Edit" -> "Unlock", and you'll be able to drag it around. In layer setup, you can change which layers are visible, and also change their scales. You can have a layer link layer which is a different scale than the original layer. Make sure you save a sheet view with the setup you want. I don't think that the sheet views are interchangable with other drawings (I assume you mean between files?)

  5. I am trying to render an overhead perspective of a room, but my floor does not show up entirely -- only about half of the floor shows up. (I've tried using actual floors, extruded polygons, and 3d polygons, both with and without texture). It shows up perfectly in isometric views, or in perspectives taken from eye-level. It also looks fine using QuickDraw, but I'd like to be able to use LightWorks RayMaker. This problem is consistent in all drawings I've tried. Has anyone else solved this?
