My company recently started working with Aluvision and I am wondering if there is a way to upload their library into Vectorworks without having to manually import each file and add descriptions etc.

Hello all,

 

I am trying to figure out how to have multiple windows open at the same time, right now I have to toggle between open files under the windows tab (as shown in the attachment) and it would be a lot easier if I can have these files open independently so that I can have each file open on separate screens at the same time.

I am trying to figure out how to find a radius on a curved structure for my woodshop guys.

Can anyone help?

I have been playing around with the radial, arc and angular dimension tools in “annotations mode” on a viewport but cannot seem to figure it out.

Hi Jim,

I am using a Mac and I see the pallets drop down but it says nothing about docks. Is this not available for Macs at this point?

Also what do you mean by "texture applied to the extrude" ?

Hi Everyone,

I am new to vector works 2016 and use it for Tradeshow work.

I am trying to figure out a couple of things.

1. How do you change the color of an extrusion?

2. How do you change the opacity of an extrusion?

3. How do you open multiple windows at the same time? ( I have read some things about changing dock preferences but there is not an option for that on Vectorworks 2016.
