  • What happens when you paste an object that's in an invisible class?

    PVA - Admin

When you copy and paste objects, perhaps to another file, it's hard to tell if all the objects are pasted when one or more classes of those objects are invisible. Up until now, you had to trust that everything was pasted correctly.

When you paste objects, an alert message lets you know if some of the pasted objects belong to invisible classes, and also gives you the option to change the class visibilities so that the pasted objects will be visible.

This is one more step we're taking to provide users with improved feedback about operations within Vectorworks.
