    Installation fails:
For some users with Avast Antivirus, during installation of Vectorworks, the antivirus will detect the "SunPosition.vlb" plugin component as a threat and when it attempts to quarantine it, the installation fails. While it is possible to simply disable the antivirus application and then procede with the installation, users should now find that if they update their antivirus' definitions the issue should be resolved without having to disable their protection entirely.

If this virus definition update does not occur automatically, users should be find instructions on how to do this at this location.

Installation still fails OR Launching Vectorworks fails:
For users who had been using Vectorworks without issue for a number of days, and then suddenly Vectorworks would fail to launch, this can often be corrected by adding Vectorworks to Avast's exclusion list. Instructions for doing so can be found at this location.
