    PVA - Jim

Convert an image into vector lines with the Trace Bitmap command.

Import the image using either the File > Import > Import Image File or File > Import > Import PICT as Picture command. Then, select Tool > Trace Bitmap and specify the trace parameters. The image is converted to vector lines.

In later versions of Vectorworks, this command is found in Modify > Trace Bitmap instead.

I created a drawing using Trace bitmap and now I would like it to be a one-dimensional object that will flip when you change from front to top plan view. The image constantly remains the same no matter what. Is there any way to flatten this out so that I could use it in a drawing and it will change when I change perspective? Sorry I may not be using all the right terms.
