Adding Modules to an Existing Installation of Vectorworks (Vectorworks 2014 and prior)

NOTE: In Vectorworks 2015 and later, this procedure will not be required. Simply replace the serial number.

If you have acquired an additional module of Vectorworks, for example; if you had Fundamentals and then later wanted to add the Renderworks module, you will receive a new serial number from your sales representative or distributor.
 

(If you wish to keep any custom libraries or workspaces you may have created, make sure to follow these instructions in order to back up a copy of your Vectorworks preferences before going further.)

In order to add this module, you will first need to uninstall your current version of Vectorworks, as described HERE.

Once you have backed up your settings and removed the previous installation, you need only install with the new serial number you were provided. After that, you can restore your preferences and launch Vectorworks.
