I've been using this to renumber sheet layers.  Almost every day.   The first and last numbers are the "stacking" numbers.  So you can start renumbering anywhere in the stack.   It might complain if the operation will try to create a Sheet Number that already exists.  If you suspect that might happen run it with a prefix or suffix that you're not using.  Then run it again. It will remember all the settings.  Just change the dummy prefix or suffix and run it again.
