Topic: Rendering and Drawing presented by Grant van Zevern.
Grant van Zevern is the owner of GvZ Media Inc, a design firm located in Virginia. Grant provides concept design and visualization for the entertainment industry. He works with production designers, agencies, and producers to develop form studies, space planning, concept models, renderings and production CAD drafting for fabrication. CAD drafting and modelling is developed in Vectorworks and rendered in C4D or Twinmotion. While a majority of Grant's work is in multi camera tapings, he has also worked on environmental installations, outdoor festivals, and corporate events.
Grant holds an MFA from the University of California Irvine in Scenic Design, and has also taught at UC Irvine and UC San Diego.

This introductory seminar provides an overview of using Vectorworks Spotlight to create, visualize, and document live entertainment productions. Attendees will explore the capabilities, concepts, resources, services, and benefits of using information modeling in the design phase to streamline workflows and increase efficiency. The session covers the user interface and demonstrates how to use specialized plug-ins, tools, and menu commands contained within Vectorworks Spotlight.
