Site Modelling TrainingREQUIREMENTS
Core Concepts or equivalent knowledge Understanding of levels and surveys Understanding of Vectorworks Origins (Preferred) SITE MODELLING PART 1
Learn how to input data to create a site model. Whether you are receiving a survey or entering your own raw data we can show you different methods to get your information into Vectorworks in the correct forms for creating site models.OBJECTIVES
Use Stakes to enter point height data Use Grid Entry to enter your point height data Convert 2D Contours to 3D Contours Import survey data from a spreadsheet Import survey data from a DWG Create a Site Model from your chosen source data SITE MODELLING PART 2
Learn how to import existing tree surveys, perform a shadow analysis with Heliodon and use Site modifiers to create your design for the site. Vectorworks has many methods for modifying sites, use these in combination to create your vision.OBJECTIVES
Add Existing Trees and Massing Models Use Heliodon to do various shadow studies Work with Grade Limits Divert Contours Use Pad Modifiers Create cut-outs and raised areas with Retain Edge Modifiers Texture your model with Texture beds Deal with left over cut using the Spoil Pile modifier Create Custom Modifiers Build a Grade network Evaluate Cut and fill on your site PAYMENT
