Hidden Treasures Seminar - JulyPlease note, this seminar is being hosted by Vectorworks UK and will run at 1.00PM BST, 8AM EDT.
HIDDEN TREASURES IN VECTORWORKS
When learning to use Vectorworks, or any software for that matter, we are likely to focus on learning how to use just what we need to complete a project. Over time, we may believe we know how to use the application to its fullest extent but have only scratched the surface of what is possible. In this session, the Vectorworks training team will guide you through finding those gems (tools/commands) that will make your design process more efficient. They will also change your perspective on how and when to use certain Vectorworks features that you may already use regularly.

Transitioning to Information Modeling WorkflowsDescription: :With today’s tight budgets, collaboration requirements, and quick delivery of projects with regulatory or performance-driven guidelines, landscape architects need to work smarter, not harder. Explore the challenges associated with transitioning from traditional CAD platforms to Building Information Modeling (BIM), new efficient workflows, and the benefits/challenges of this change.
Learning Objectives: : Learn the deciding factors that compel firms to move from general CAD to BIM and how firms transition to new design workflows, including timelines, challenges, and helpful resources. Identify the suite of tools and work flows available to assist and document design. Explore practical uses of BIM from conceptual drawings and models to construction documents and presentations. Understand how BIM work flows are used to complete applications for LEED, SITES, and state, local, and federal reviews and approvals. Register
