TOPIC:&nbsp:THE STORY OF WALLS

Vectorworks Architect and Designer's Stories allow users to manage defined levels within building floors for construction elements like slabs, finish floors, ceilings—and wall components. The levels in a story have a Z height relative to the story: the story controls their absolute elevation, and if the story elevation changes, the levels and&nbsp: associated objects automatically change their elevation or boundaries along with the story.

This month we’ll look at why and how to set up and manage Stories, especially in the context of Wall Styles and&nbsp: Wall components, using the story-awareness of Walls for flexibility and accuracy when creating a building model, from the early to the final stages of design.
