Create Skillion Roof

Hi all.

I have done my research both here and online and cannot find the way to make a skillion roof.

Can someone please point me in the right direction.

The simplest way is to create a Roof Face. Or you can create a Roof then edit the edges to convert them from hips to gables.

 

See AEC > Create Roof... + AEC > Create Roof Face

 

I'm assuming you mean how do you create a mono pitch roof if I've misunderstood apologies

@BJRobinson as Tom suggests, a roof or roof face will do the trick.

Alternatively, a skillion can be made with a slab fairly easily.

 

After that, you are looking at solid modeling or 3D faces.

Good point!

 

Although a nice thing about Roofs/Roof Faces is that they can clip or be clipped by Walls - on a component by component basis if desired - so it means you can get things looking correct in section, which may or may not be useful in this case

Create Roof face it is. looks easy enough. I didn't even know it existed. It shows I mainly draw landscapes doesn't it  🙂

I believe you can also use a roof with 3 sides set to be gable ends then the roof will add in the walls to infill each side of the roof.

Use the Roof Face command...you can also frame it using the Framing tools - AEC > Framing > Roof Framer
