mike46
Hi I have been looking through the images included with vw and contained in the mcd files Ie masonry.mcd . My question is how do I use these in a texture I am familure with creating textures with images i have elseware but how do i select the included images once in the texture creation dialog . MikeB
Your not importing the image, your importing the texture. If you have gotten the texture into your target document simply apply the texture to your object. Thru the resources palette you can also edit the texture once you have imported it into your active document. Quote Link to comment

MikeB
Huh, well, I don't have VW 10 in front of me know, if no one else gets to this by tonight, I'll check it out when I get home. Maybe something was changed in 10 that I haven't noticed yet. Good Luck Quote Link to comment
Guest
In the file where you see the images, there is a texture to match that image also. There are certain texture library files that will have an image as well as a texture based on the same image file. The textures are used for 3d objects, the images for 2d objects. You can use the image fill option like you would apply a hatch or solid color to a 2d object -- just now you have a handful of images thrown in with the program to use. Does that make sense?
