johnharley
I am trying to devise a technique I can use to "feather" the edges of a rendering (2d rendering). This is mainly needed for site plans that have large areas of tree masses which go well beyond the property line. (I generally like to show the context of a site, rather than just cutting everything off at the property line). One idea I had was to create a mask as the top layer. The mask would then have a cut-out in some shape. I was wondering if it is possible to use a type of gradient were the mask could go from all white (at the edges) to transparent (in the middle near the rendering). OR is their some other way of accomplishing this? I am using VW10 (win) Landmark. Quote Link to comment
Cloud Hidden
Export an image, import it to Photoshop, and use their feathering effect. Quote Link to comment
