Eric Chenault Posted June 16, 2001 Share Posted June 16, 2001 After trading-up to Spotlight and working in Spotlight (VW) 8.5.2 with a few different shows I keep experiencing the main VectorWorks preferences resetting to factory defaults. Is there a file that is corrupt? I really would hate to have to reinstall the software. Is this a bug in Spotlight? I never had this problem with VW 8.5 until after the Spotlight add-ins were installed on top of the old VW 8.5 installation. Regards, Eric Chenault Quote Link to comment

The bug list shows the problem was fixed for 9.0. If you are finding any prefrences that are reseting themselves please let us know. Remember that some prefrences are stored with the document and others are stored globaly. Quote Link to comment

My first version of SpotLight was 9.0.1, and have had the problem regularly. However, I just did a test in 9.5.0 (in OS 9.2) with a new document, and the preferences were saved.
