rendering problem mask transparancy

Recommended Posts

Hello there,

When rendering a rendering with a 2D polygon I created according to the RW Tutorial "Creating a Mask Transparancy", I get the image rendered fine, but the strange thing is, that the shadow is in the form of the original rectangle this image came from. I got the image from imagecels.com.

Does anyone have any idea on this?

This has happened to me several times, I don't know the cause. In one instance I had created a symbol of a tree using the mask transparency, in the same view some of the shadows would be correct and others would show a shadow of the entie rectangle the texture was applied to.

I assumed it was a bug.
