Peter van der Elst
Does anyone know how to make (fake) radiosity, or is it something to add to the wishlist. I tried the dome with the lights but it's not really the result I want. The best answer could be a GOOD exporter for Cinema 4d. I hope there's someone who could help me. Quote Link to comment

Matthew Giampapa
To fake Radiosity, you can use weak colored spotlights coming out of large surfaces. It will look ok, but requires a lot of tweaking and is not a true radiosity effect. Adding this feature to RenderWorks is on the wish list, but not currently a very high priority at the moment. There is work going on to do a C4D translator, I don't know if it is out of the planning stages yet, but last I heard it would be an addition to C4D or a standalone converter. When it/if it's ready and working I'm sure it will be announced at all of the usual places. Unfortunately, I don't have any hard info here. Matthew GiampapaNNA Technical Support Quote Link to comment
