J.Samuel
Can someone help me please, I can't figure out how to adjust the exterior wall to fill this gap under the roof portion that did not "Fit Walls to Objects". A interior wall is underneath this portion of the roof. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Edited July 20, 2022 by J.Samuel Quote Link to comment
michaelk
I feel your pain :-). To make everything look good in both plan and elevation I usually make fake "clerestory" walls for situations like that. So the wall with the exterior door would have the same plate height as the wall under the eave. No "Fit to Roof" On another layer draw the wall whose bottom is the plate height, whose overall width is from the eave of the main roof on the right to the ridge of the little roof on the left. Shape the top to the big roof and the bottom to the plate of the first floor wall and the little roof. Maybe there is a better way. If so, I hope somebody tells us :-). Quote Link to comment
TomKen
What @michaelk said is is usually my approach as well. Here is an example file. Roof.vwx Quote Link to comment
