Recommended Posts

Hello;

Since install VectorWorks update 9.5 over 9.0.1, can't open the program. When try to open it I get a message : "The application program VectorWorks can not be open because "MSL C++.PPC.DLL Rel" coud not be found.

But if I remove the RenderWorks Library from the VW folder then all works escept RenderWorks.

What's the file "MSL C++.PPC.DLL Rel"?

MSL RuntimePPC++.DLL

This is an extension and according to Conflict Catcher it is:

"This is a shared library which provides system services for applications written in CodeWarrior."

You might have to remove vectorworks all together and reinstall from scratch from original CDs.It might also be a good idea to run Norton Utilities to repair hard disc directory before reinstalling Vectorworks.

Make sure you have VW/RW 901 installed correctly and have not moved the RW library to another place on the hard drive. It must reside in the VW 901 folder.

Then when you run the web based installer, enter a valid RW serial number along with the VW serial number you should have all the components isntalled correctly and avoid the error message.
