lalcaraz
I am attempting to create an image that will be a chunk of glass I create a Polygon with 3 sides (left, right and bottom) and then create a wavy line top to it with the freehand tool and then I convert it all to a Polygon and extrude it to about 10'. I then apply a the texture "Glass" to it and click start and end caps. When I render it, the front and back do not render -- they are untreated. I discussed this with a VW Rep at a lighting convention this last weekend and his fix was to make sure that Start and End Caps were on but I have done that and it still does not work. Any ideas? JGL
I think the problem is the first 3-sided polygon. In my experience, polygons must be "closed" to render properly, otherwise only the edges will render. Try creating your polygon, then check "closed" in the info. pallete. Quote Link to comment
