Miss
Hello, I'm having a problem with extruding my 2d circles, as you can see they are extruding upwards is there any way I can change the direction of the extrusion? I want the direction of the extrusion to be facing towards me if that makes sense. Please help, thank you Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
Change the number in the 'Extr' setting in the OIP from positive to negative + the objects will Extrude in the opposite direction 1 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
It looks like the circles are on the layer plane. Extrudes will only go "away" from the plane they are on (either positive or negative as Tom W. says). If you need the extrudes to be at a different "angle", then set a working plane, put the circles there and then extrude. Quote Link to comment

And if that angle happens to be the angle at which you're currently viewing your model (like how old Screen Plane worked), use this handy button in the view bar to set the Working Plane to be coincident with your view. Then in the OIP you can switch the Plane for the circles to be "Working Plane", then extrude. 2 Quote Link to comment
