rendering in strata studio

can someone tell me why you connot export to

strata studio in VW when we could in

minicad 7

i know render works is a force to reckon

with but i would still like to do some of

my rendering in strata

In workspace editor you can ad 'export simple vector script, 3d only...' to your export menu.

Some tips for good results:

-make a class for each material/shape you want to treat separately in Strata. You can convert classes to shapes during import in Strata. Ungroup groups with different classes/materials.Don't ungroup objects like walls,roofs ...

- convert solid CSG (additions, subtraction.) to mesh or 3d polygons

still using VW 8 and it needs 8.5 to
