3D Iso over 2D iso Floor plan

In DLayer > Layer Link ...make sure to click the 'Project 2d'

or in VP ... with the 2d Layer stacked below 'Project 2d'.

Thanks EJ. I'm not sure thats what I had in mind. I've drawn the floor plan and all the walls are in 3D except when looking at top view. I would like to keep the top view as a 2D floor plan layer add a 3D room sheet layer over it and have the 2D floor plan move with the 3D room. The only way I have come up with, is to reduce another D layer copy to 0" ?Z and use that. It is time consuming to make all the windows, doors, toilets and cabinets to 0 height.

Does anyone have an easy way to layer a 3D ISO view of a room over a 2D ISO view of the whole building floor plan?

I do this all the time with the column grids and it looks great !

But , of course, the A-ANNO-GRID layers is at 0 elevation.

Thanks EJ. Thats exactly what I would like to do. So I do have to change a copy of the floorplan layer and set it all to zero. I was hoping for a shortcut. I'll check out that example.
