Endre Torkildsen
I have a strange problem I havent had before. When i set my settings to page size A3, the page will not update to the correct size.. When my settings shows A3 420 x 297mm, the page is actually 525 x 371mm.. Someone have some tips? I havent started this file, and i have not tried to copy all to a black file.. Just seems a bit to much work, just to have the sheet-pdf to be correct.. Quote Link to comment
0 Pat Stanford
If you haven't solved this, can you post or DM me the file so we can take a look? My guess is in Printer Setup, but I haven't been able to replicate yet. Quote Link to comment

0 Pat Stanford
Posting this here for possible future reference by others. It appears that somehow you got an extra scaling factor set on these sheet layers. When you click the Printer Setup button from the Page Setup dialog box there are two places you can put an additional scale factor. The Printer Setup dialog box (which has a title of Page Setup) has a scale factor there If you then click and hold on the Page Attributes there is another option called Vectorworks. You can enter another scale factor there. It appears that all of your sheet layers have that set to 80% which is making your paper size larger than you want. If all the sheet layers are supposed to be the same size, you can select them all in the Navigation Palette or the Organization Dialog Box and do Page Setup for all of them at once and set the Vectorworks Scaling back to 100% The 80% Vectorworks Scaling is also set for the Design Layers, but DL share a single Page Setup so you only have to change it once for those. Ask again if you have more questions. HTH. 2 Quote Link to comment
0 Pat Stanford
And for historical purposes, I believe the Vectorworks Scaling was added in Minicad+ 4 or 5 because in the 1990s there were printer drivers that did not offer a scaling feature. 1 Quote Link to comment
